Very nice patina of use for this large perch paddle collected on the banks of the Sépik River in Papua New Guinea. The perch paddle is mainly used to push the pirogue through the sometimes crowded meanders of the Sépik River. The curved shape of the leaf prevents the tip from getting stuck in the mud. Wood and paint remains. Sold with base. Approx. 235 x 15 cm / €380 base and shipping included.
