    Neckrest "kali dabala" Tonga Islands
    Polynesia, late 19th/early 20th century
    Wood and fibers
    Length: 46; Width: 13.4; Height: 13.3cm

    Large horizontal part of the headrest, slightly convex with a curve on the central part. The underside has a median edge and the bases of the feet.

    Two arches with four feet are made solid by fiber links.

    Good condition. (One of the feet has undergone an old, almost invisible restoration)
