Very interesting statue in natural wood, representing a standing woman, height 59 cm including base, beautiful patina of use, washed out, missing the tips of the feet, many traces of blows. Dayak Borneo, probably a venerated ancestor, a reliquary hole in the arm. I particularly like its aspect a little naive, very raw, very primitive .
Collected in the 80's by Nina Wolmark, the editor and producer of the cartoons Rahan and Ulysse 41, that the older ones know well !
