Sculpture in raw wood called "Yipwon", presented and sold mounted on a base. The Yipwon is one of the most stylized and symbolic objects from the Sepik River region of Papua New Guinea. These sculptures are placed in the Haus Tambaran (house of men) and are closely related to the warrior world. Its other name, wanleg (from the English "one leg") in Pidgin English refers to all the figures of this style found in the Korewori River region. Traces and lacks of old use.
