Alix Marquet was a French sculptor and painter born on January 8, 1875, in Oudan (Nièvre) and died on June 27, 1939, in Paris.
Active in Paris, he exhibited numerous works at the Salon des Artistes Français, several of which won awards.
He served as vice president of the Société des Artistes Français and the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts.
