Finely carved from a beautiful wooden log interlaced with scales and flowers, with a powerful Fô dog head, this 18th-century boat was likely used, according to our research, as a support for a sacred sculpture. We would be happy to provide any insight into the origin of this beautiful object... No trace of navigation, the decorations have remained intact. Monoxyl, as the wood dried, split at both ends. It is presented here on an old Auvergne column made of Volvic stone.
