Description

This description has been translated and may not be completely accurate. Click here to see the original

Inspired by nature and know-how, Art Nouveau offers a new place to lively and organic forms. This mounted shell takes up the classic codes, but gives them an unprecedented modernity thanks to these gilded bronze vines whose chiseled leaves are enhanced with a nuanced polychromy. A perched bird seems curious to drink from this shell, or perhaps even to bathe in it. The whole, in very good condition, is an Art Nouveau ode to a magnified nature.
