Roger KEIFLIN (b. 1949), a talented artist, began painting at the tender age of fifteen, and quickly won acclaim and awards at various exhibitions. In 1974, he set up his own gallery, Galerie Concorde, in Mulhouse, before handing it over to his son David to settle in Provence. The colors sublimated by the light of this region will become a permanent and harmonious part of his palette.
Roger KEIFLIN is exhibited in several art galleries in Mulhouse, Strasbourg, Saint Rémy de Provence and Marseille.
This work from the 1990's, an oil on canvas depicting a Provencal countryside landscape, titled "Maison aux coquelicots" (House of Poppies), reflects his art and his taste for brightly-toned flowers, infusing his compositions with energy.
