An elegant antique oval box, its lid adorned with a painted miniature most likely depicting the Château de Digoine in Palinges, Saône-et-Loire.

The scene shows the château's façade with its two characteristic circular towers, as seen from the park and the pond. In the foreground are a couple in period costume and a boat on the pond, lending the scene a romantic character typical of the 19th century. A beautiful and refined collector's item, decorative and elegant, with a finely executed miniature and a gilt frame.
Dimensions: 8.5 × 6.5 × 3 cm.
