    Round box in tortoiseshell and 18-carat solid gold (hallmarked Tête de Coq Petite Garantie Or 1809-1819), decorated with two oval miniatures on each side depicting portraits of gentlemen or aristocrats in 18th-century court dress.
    This box is in good condition and of exceptional quality. Hallmarked, see photos. The miniatures are 18th-century and were mounted on the box in the early 19th century.
    Please note: slight dents and deformations to the gold ring (see red arrows), the glass of the miniature below is cracked (we enclose another glass to replace it), a few tiny chips to the rim, micro-scratches and slight age wear, see photos.
