This Japanese chest has a wooden structure and bronze fittings dating from the 19th century.

The recent decoration was created by Ateliers Brugier.

The copper fittings are richly chiseled and gilded, with folding handles.

This chest rests on a glossy black lacquer base with gold fillets.
