* Maison Boissier:
At the beginning of the 19th century, the young Bélisaire Boissier left his province to conquer Paris and realize his dream: to become a confectioner. In 1827 he founded the Boissier house. Its first counter erected on Boulevard des Capucines was such a success that the house very quickly opened “Boissier” boutiques on the most beautiful Parisian streets: boulevard de Courcelles, boulevard des Capucines, avenue Raymond Poincaré, 17 rue Auber, 2 Place de l 'Opéra, Avenue Victor Hugo or even on Avenue des Champs-Elysées. In 1857 Bélisaire decided to pass on his house to Cyrille Robineau, a young visionary who then invested in this business which he knew was flourishing and already generating assets. This entrepreneur contributes a little more to the prosperity of the Boissier house by developing new products but also by taking care of the packaging and decoration of its stores. It is for this reason that we still find boxes made of precious wood, in Boulle marquetry with inlays of various noble materials. These creations were made by famous and recognized tablet makers, such as TAHAN or AlpH. GIROUX, cited as official suppliers to Emperor Napoleon III.
