Blown Marmorean Glass Cup in a Wrought Iron Frame, signed Daum and Majorelle.
Louis Majorelle (1859-1926) was a Decorator of the Art Nouveau movement at the Nancy school. He collaborated with Verrerie Daum to create Colorful and Singular Works.
This Godronné Circular Test, carried out by intercalary vitrification of oxide powders, benefits from a rich Chromatic Palette: Orange, Yellow, White and Blue intermingle and overlap.
Matte in appearance, this Piece has been hot-blown into a sculpted wrought iron frame with two handles.
Below, the Signatures Daum (Cross of Lorraine) Nancy and L. Majorelle are engraved.
