A delightful small bronze and gilt brass incense burner, the lid openworked with scrollwork motifs and a bread-apple handle, on a bowl decorated with grooves, lotus leaves, and seeds, supported by three winged lions, gathered on a trilobed plinth base highlighted by a foliage frieze (some wear).
