Art Deco period presentation stand, entirely covered with glazed earthenware tiles arranged in a mosaic.
The structure has a square section barrel, tapering downwards before widening onto a square base of 26 x 26 cm. The exterior combines three colors: shiny burgundy-brown background, ivory white central panels, gold borders and edging. The upper surface is decorated with an eight-pointed star in gold and brown tesserae on a white background, a geometric motif characteristic of the decorative repertoire of the 1920s and 1930s. Highly crafted craftsmanship in the tradition of French decorative ceramics from the beginning of the 20th century.
Workshop observation: tile chips visible at the lower corners of the base, requiring light mosaic restorations. All otherwise in a state of conservation consistent with the period.
Dimensions: H. 110 cm – L. 34 cm – Base 26 x 26 cm. Weight: 60 kg. Provide suitable transport.
