Gothic style saddle with a high top and a square base in Walnut veneer. The first one, with its 'Bec de Corbin' carved perimeter, is supported by a solid Walnut structure composed of four turned columns with twisted flutes in the central part. They are connected by arches and the upper and lower ends are generously molded. These four pillars are fixed by a system of wooden screws under the base, with modestly scalloped sides, of this Sellette.
We can also note the presence, in the center under the top, of a piece of wood turned, as if suspended in the middle of the four columns.
This piece of furniture can be used traditionally, as a Rest for a Decorative object, or, installed in a hall or a vestibule, as an Empty Pocket with character.
