    Pair of 19th century ceramic candlesticks depicting upright polar bears carrying a pot. Signature under the base. Monogrammed G.D for Georges Dreyfus.
    The Dreyfus artistic earthenware factory opened in 1890 in Moret sur Loing and closed in 1936. Production specialized in tableware and was sold in the Paris store on rue de Paradis.
