An elegant walnut writing slope from the English Navy, featuring brass decorations typical of this type of furniture. Beautiful brass ornamentation includes corner brackets and reinforcements and a finely shaped keyhole escutcheon.
A medallion bearing the name of the first owner is located in the center.

The writing slope opens to reveal two leather sleeves and a pen holder. It also has a mechanism that, when activated, reveals a trapdoor with two drawers.

The two-hook lock is functional and comes with its key.
It has a beautiful patina and is in magnificent condition.
    good quality piece.

Delivery available to Belgium, France, and internationally.
Viewable in our showroom at 41 Rue Henri Wafelaerts, 1060 Brussels, Belgium.
More information and photos available upon request.
