18th-century liqueur cabinet, circa 1760. The cabinet is made of lemonwood veneer framed on all sides by various strips of maple, ebony, and other exotic woods, with a wide band of ebony around the perimeter, all mounted on a fir core. The lid is adorned with an églomisé glass panel featuring a design executed in fine gold on the reverse, depicting a medallion surrounded by foliage and a cherub. The interior, which has retained its original silk lining, holds six liqueur bottles, finely decorated with gold, complete with their stoppers, and two attached liqueur glasses. This case features beautiful gilded bronze ornamentation: two handles on the sides and a keyhole. The original lock is functional and comes with an antique key. Please note that one bottle has a small chip on the neck (last photo). The stamp-applied varnish has just been redone.
