A set of eight port glasses in cut crystal signed Daum, a true treasure of early twentieth-century French glassmaking.
Each glass reveals finely cut work: radiating geometric line clusters adorn the slightly flared body, while the base displays superb swirling motifs in high relief, with an almost sculptural effect. The upper edge, scalloped into a five-petaled flower, imparts elegant character to the whole. At the thick and faceted bottom, a central star captures light with exceptional brilliance.
The crystal, of remarkable clarity, shows no trace of wear — careful preservation that allows full appreciation of the Daum signature engraved beneath each piece.
