    Fine miniature portrait on ivory of a General of the Empire or the Restoration, Marshal of Camp. Early 19th century period. Dressed in a uniform richly decorated with gold, he wears epaulettes with 3 stars. The man is elegant, well represented, the face is beautiful with very expressive blue eyes.

    The miniature is framed in a pompom pendant frame.
