The piece stands out from a background simulating Swedish green porphyry, the whole presented in a beautiful rectangular frame with oval view in lemon-tree veneer.
A fine, refined object typical of souvenirs of the Grand Tour, the aristocratic educational journey across Europe undertaken by young men from the highest classes of European society from the 17th to the 19th century.
