Description

1970s Italian photo frame with glass. This frame is a superb example of the sleek, luxurious Modernist design language that defined Italian luxury goods of the era. Crafted with exceptional quality in Italy, the heavy silver-plated metal exhibits a brilliant, mirror-polished finish. The frame is defined by its clean, minimalist profile, which is elegantly accented by a precisely executed, fine bead-and-reel or 'pearl' edge—a hallmark detail of high-end Italian metalwork that adds depth and sophistication. The frame is equipped with its original, luxurious black velvet easel back, featuring a silverplated hinge. It retains its original glass pane and is in pristine, gallery-quality condition, free of any significant tarnishing, scratches, or plate loss. This piece is not just a functional accessory, but a sculptural object that elevates any desk or side table. It's in excellent condition.
