    French 19th century gilt bronze mounted porcelain jardinière. It is decorated on the exterior with a couple in a landscape on one side and with a bird on a branch on the other side. The interior of the jardiniere is highlighted with a polychromatic garland and a bunch of flowers. The two medallions are framed in a gold-colored border decorated with branches and flowers. Underneath the bowl, a young man is playing the horn to a woman, under a tree. The branches of the tree form the handles which are adorned with putti and foliages. The jardiniere rests on a naturalistic base and six small foliated feet. 

    Condition Report: Overall, the condition of the jardinière is good, with minor wear consistent with age and use. The porcelain is in very good condition,  with very light wear to the gilding. The bronze mounts with some fine haircracks to the border.
