Orange tree box of classic French tradition, constructed in painted oak.

The structure rests on four square uprights topped with acorn-shaped finials, characteristic of traditional Versailles orange tree boxes. The four sides are clad in panels with joined vertical slats, framed by horizontal crossbars. The bottom is slatted to ensure drainage. The paint, beige in color with off-gray highlights, shows significant chipping and wear revealing the wood in several places. This patinated appearance is consistent with the age of the piece. Repainting or cleaning to be carried out depending on the desired use. Dimensions: H. 95 cm – L. 70 cm – Estimated weight: 80 kg.
