Beautiful white enamelled earthenware basket bowl by Emile Tessier from the first half of the 20th century, in the form of an openwork shuttle, with Malicornr rings and claw feet. Neoclassical in spirit and elegant, this bowl is ideal for a centerpiece or console table. This beautifully styled piece was produced under the direction of Emile Tessier, director of the company from 1923 to 1971; the approximate date of this piece in perfect condition and of the quality we know from this marvellous Manufacture whose prized production traveled the world. A beautiful decorative piece in good original condition, signed on the underside and still bearing the gold label from the dealer's "60s" collection. Suitable for a dining room or mantelpiece, it's a refined, decorative and well-preserved piece that's sure to please...
