Important wall-mounted holy water font in veined green onyx, richly adorned with a gilt bronze mount and polychrome cloisonné enamel decoration centered with a monogram of Christ.

The basin is also decorated with matching enamels. The whole piece presents a remarkable decorative effect thanks to the combination of onyx, gilt bronze, and colored enamels.
French work from the late 19th century.
