    Reliquary frame in carved and gilded wood, decorated with staples, palmettes and acanthus leaves, holding a tender gouache depicting Christ with a reed in a central medallion. Crowned with thorns and adorned with a halo, he holds a reed, the same reed with which the soldiers had made a derisory scepter for the King of the Jews, and with which they struck him.
    At the base are relics of Saint Prosper, whom Prosper liked to write "We believe that every man is a weak reed"...
