Although time has taken its toll, this object still retains all its aura. Surmounted by a figure of the Virgin in carved and gilded wood, this processional staff was used during processions and pilgrimages associated with the Catholic cult. When the liturgical calendar did not require it, it was kept in the religious building to which it belonged unless it was the property of a religious brotherhood or a trade guild.

Some missing pieces are to be noted but in good general condition considering the age of the object.
