Designed and built in September 1955 by Heny Bataille, this concave ash and oak rolling bar resting on three legs was intended for a boat.
It is composed of four superimposed trays surrounded by a scalloped metal gallery to hold twelve stemmed glasses and an openwork tray with six holes for bottles.
Henri Bataille was a designer of free-form furniture in the 50's. Our bar bears his signature on the bottom shelf.
Beautifully finished, pegged and in fine original condition.
