A lacquered wooden daybed dating from around 1800. The uprights feature detached columns and various carvings such as fluted moldings, small rosettes, and a waterleaf frieze. The upper section is adorned with small ball-shaped ornaments reminiscent of the work of Georges Jacob. The lacquer is Trianon green. The upholstery and fabric need replacing, and the mattress is missing. It was assembled with lag screws and pegs, as was common in the 18th century.

I believe this is a fairly rare piece on the market.
