Empire mahogany coffee table or bedside table, mahogany veneer, and a gray Hainaut marble top. Mounted on columns and shaped like a "bridge," our table is veneered on all sides with French-varnished mahogany, with gilt bronze trim. It opens with three drawers and retains its attractive original key. Late Empire period, 1810s.

Veneered on all sides, our table is ideal for use as a coffee table in the center of a room or as a bedside table. It is lower than a typical Empire bedside table, making it ideal for today's lower beds.

Our table is in excellent condition; the old French-varnish has been cleaned and repolished by our cabinetmaker. No damage or missing parts.
