Pair of bedside tables – Scandinavian style – Solid teak – 1960s

Pair of Scandinavian style bedside tables, mid-20th century period, made from solid teak.

Each piece of furniture consists of a box with two drawers, equipped with double recessed handles carved directly into the mass, a process characteristic of Nordic design from the 1960s. The assembly of the drawers is done with a dovetail, testifying to quality construction. The box rests on a frame with four tapered legs in lighter wood, connected by low spacers. Teak has a natural patina acquired over time. Some slight signs of wear are visible on the sides, inherent to the age of the piece; the whole remains in very good general condition. No intervention reported by the seller.
