Atypical solid walnut sideboard from the early 20th century.
This piece of furniture is a curiosity, built at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, and is reminiscent of Art Deco, but the strong inspiration of the Louis XV style was not the order of the day.
In fact, hind legs and scallop shells were rarely seen in this period. This sideboard is certainly the fruit of a cabinetmaker's imagination.
The solid walnut is of fine quality, giving it a gleaming patina.
The interiors have been cleaned and glazed.
