Large Art Nouveau Buffet with Display Cabinet and Clock – Circa 1890-1900
A very beautiful and imposing two-part buffet in the Art Nouveau style, dating from the late 19th century.

This piece is distinguished by its original design, elegant lines, and richly carved decoration, combining figured wood panels, floral motifs, and fluted columns.
The lower section features two large central doors, each adorned with a remarkable oval medallion in light wood, surrounded by a substantial relief carving decorated with foliage, flowers, and scrolls.
On either side, two lateral compartments with rounded and fluted fronts harmoniously complete the ensemble, giving the piece a particularly elegant silhouette.
The upper section consists of a central display cabinet with three glass doors, ideal for showcasing porcelain, glassware, collectibles, or decorative pieces.

It is framed by two curved side panels, terminating in delicate carved scrolls.

At the top, a small clock with a gold face, bearing the Junghans logo, crowns the piece and adds a touch of originality.

A sliding shelf located beneath the top provides additional surface space.
The interior of the lower section features ample storage space with shelves.
The entire piece rests on a molded base with small fluted feet.

This sideboard impresses with its generous proportions, the quality of its decorative elements, and its particularly original character. Period: circa 1890-1900
