A beautiful, asymmetrical mahogany and satin mahogany veneer cabinet. It opens with a marquetry door featuring ears of wheat and a poppy against a background of rustic ash, four niches, and a compartmentalized music storage compartment. The upper shelf on the right is rounded and overhanging, supported by a spirally carved upright. The sides are openwork and fitted with carved columns, while the lower section has a sloping crossbar with scalloped edges. Original gilt bronze key, hot-stamped hallmark, very fine waxed finish.
