Elegant Louis XV sideboard from the late 18th century.
This piece of furniture is made of fruitwood, cherry, pearwood and walnut.
The front legs are unusual in that they are shaped like spinning tops, whereas the hind or shell legs were common.
No major restoration was required, only cleaning and wax finishing. The patina is light and golden.
There is a removable "secret" drawer, which also serves as a slide for the right-hand drawer.
The drawer knobs are turned iron.
