Louis XV-style sideboard in carved wood with a deliberately aged patina (omb) – 20th century
An elegant, low Louis XV-style sideboard, crafted from wood, featuring a dynamic, curved front and two rounded sides.
The front opens with three doors: a wide central door and two arched side doors that follow the curved shape of the piece. They are adorned with molded panels and feature metal keyholes.
Beautiful carved decoration featuring seashells, foliage, and floral motifs, particularly on the side posts and the scalloped lower rail. The piece rests on four curved legs topped with scrolls.
The interior offers ample storage space with shelves and a central drawer.
The sideboard features a deliberately weathered dark patina, revealing the warmer hue of the wood in places and lending it plenty of character.
A decorative and functional piece, ideal for a traditional interior, a country home, or paired with a more contemporary decor.
Condition: generally good condition for its age, with visible wear, scuffs, and patina marks as shown in the photographs.
Dimensions:
Height: 107 cm
Width: 180 cm
Depth: 56 cm
Period: 20th century.
