Neoclassical-style sideboard in amboyna burl, opening with two doors and revealing about fifteen mahogany drawers with bronze knobs and handles. The drawer fronts tilt onto the nine drawers in the upper section, while the six large drawers at the bottom can accommodate file storage. All drawers roll smoothly thanks to casters.
This piece of furniture features a fresco on ebony depicting charioteers and their Roman chariots, a central decoration in a diamond-shaped medallion with Cupid playing the flute. The columned uprights are adorned with gilded bronze female heads. The top is made of green marble.
This sideboard is of very high quality cabinetmaking.
