Scandinavian Danish Style Sideboard – Solid Teak and Veneer – 1960s

Scandinavian style sideboard, 1960s era, made of solid teak and teak veneer on plywood structure.

The silhouette is low and horizontal, characteristic of Nordic furniture from this period. The piece of furniture consists of two pairs of sliding doors with recessed rectangular handles, framing a central block of four drawers with sculpted wave-shaped fronts, a stylistic detail typical of Danish design from the 1960s. The tapered, slightly inclined legs visually lighten the whole thing. The top has a crown grain of the teak. The side compartments are equipped with adjustable plywood shelves, in good functional condition.

Workshop observation: visible surface wear on the tray and slight discoloration on the sliding door panels. Cleaning and re-oiling of the teak is to be expected. Sliding doors and functional drawers.

Dimensions: H. 85 cm – L. 45 cm – Estimated weight: 80 kg.
