Small, two-piece sideboard in solid oak, 19th century.

This piece of furniture, originally from Normandy, is finely carved.
The front legs are rounded and decorated with geometric carvings, and end with a shell.
The door panels are mounted on flat bands, and the outline is highlighted by a string of drops. A flower basket is carved on the lower panel of the upper doors.
The patina is rather light for oak, and the interiors have a glossy finish.
The pins are bronze.
