Anglo-Norman linen chest in the Louis XIII style, mid-18th century, consisting of 3 flat-banded panels on the front and a slightly domed top closing with a working hasp lock. The front crosspiece is carved with initials C W G on either side of the lock. The interior features a secret escutcheon concealing a double bottom.
Remarkable patina.
