Narrow piece of furniture in solid oak designed by the cabinetmakers of the Jeanselme house, which furnished among others the imperial palaces like those of Fontainebleau. It also stood out at World Exhibitions such as that of 1855. On this small piece of furniture we find on the back the stenciled mark of this prestigious company.
Concave sides with flower bed panels highlight the front consisting of a framed door with a napkin pleat panel in the center. The molded top opens allowing the door to open and reveal a shelf that conforms to the shape of the cabinet.
On either side, the angles feature two columns with twisted grooves.
In the lower part, a protruding plinth also follows the lines of this small furniture of character.
Benefiting from quality workmanship, this in-between furniture will charm you with its beautiful carved ornamentation.
