A piece of character that stands the test of time with elegance.
This superb double leaf coffee table embodies the spirit of the British Regency style in all its nobility. Made of dark, almost black stained mahogany, it displays a top covered in green leather embossed with gold leaf, framed by a border of golden scrolls of precious refinement.
Its two lyre supports, connected by turned crosspieces, give it an airy and recognizable silhouette. But it is its sculpted claw feet, mounted on original casters, which reveal all the mastery of English cabinetmaking circa 1900-1920.
The leather has a living patina — cracks and light scratches bear witness to its authenticity and history. Some scratches on the wooden strips separating the leather panels, wear consistent with the age and character of the piece.
Perfect in a living room with an English club atmosphere, a library or an interior mixing old and contemporary. Ready to find its place in your interior.
