Maison Lecan presents this solid cedar coffee table from the 1970s, carved directly from the tree. The slab top with its generously rounded edges and free contours rests on a solid trunk preserved in its raw state - exposed knots, bark sculpted by time, dense, living material. No construction, no assembly: just two solid pieces of wood, one on top of the other.
The surface of the cedar reveals an exceptional range of tones - light blond, powder pink, pinkish veins and ochres that blend with the light. Exposed knots and variations in grain make every centimetre a different reading of the wood. A unique piece, impossible to reproduce identically.
With its 102 cm length and 54 cm height - generous for a coffee table - it is a natural centerpiece for any living room. Approx. 60 kg.
