Large trading counter from the interwar period, Art Deco style, in mahogany-stained solid wood, originally intended for the presentation of hats and accessories.
The low central part, approximately 3 meters long, is equipped with a front window with two sliding windows, framed by molded panels. The wooden top has pronounced veins. The whole rests on a molded base. On the side, an independent vertical box (H. 102 cm, L. 42 cm) brings together 8 gradual drawers equipped with metal handles with diamond decoration, typical of the Art Deco vocabulary – probably intended for the presentation of gloves or small accessories.
General condition consistent with period commercial furniture: varnish to be revised throughout, widespread scratches and patina of use. Restoration of the varnish can be carried out on request by our workshops.
Counter dimensions: H. 80 cm – L. 262 cm. Box dimensions: H. 102 cm – L. 42 cm. Weight: approximately 120 kg.
