Large antique trade counter, circa 1930, in solid oak and pine
Manufactured in Lyon in the 1930s by the Pamega company (original nameplate visible on front), this piece embodies French craftsmanship of the interwar period.
The front, in oak veneer, features twelve elegant display compartments with patinated brass edges.
It is fitted with an authentic Gardor double-security cash drawer, equipped with an anti-theft code system and a mechanical bell alarm - a rare and highly collectible detail.
The back features four large drawers, a pull-out drawer, two central drawers and several open storage spaces.
The solid pine top has been replaced to be perfectly smooth and functional.
The glass front, lined with mirrors, was designed to showcase the merchandise on display.
This majestic counter, both functional and steeped in history, would be perfect for a luxury boutique, concept store or high-end showroom wishing to combine authenticity and character. Its presence immediately sculpts the space and creates a refined, timeless atmosphere.
