Farmhouse set from the Louis-Philippe period comprising a large rectangular table and its two matching benches, all in solid pitchpin.
The table top is made of assembled pitchpin planks, resting on eight turned feet in baluster form with ball finials, connected by a frame fitted with two drawers with turned wooden knobs and metal key escutcheons. The two benches feature the same decorative vocabulary with identical turned feet, ensuring overall coherence. The pitchpin displays a golden honey tone with pronounced grain and uniform patina. The table top shows significant wear marks from use: scratches, scuffs and splashes, evidence of authentic and intensive use. Height under frame: 60 cm. All restoration work possible by the seller's workshops.
Table dimensions: H. 78 cm – W. 277 cm – D. 91 cm. Total weight: 120 kg. Delivery to be arranged by quotation due to weight.
