This charming natural wood console comes from the Rhône valley, it rests on four curved legs joined by an and on the sides, and a clip on the rear crossbar. The top of the uprights is carved with lambrequins and fleuron falls, the ends of the feet are in the shape of a doe's hoof under a small volute formed by the cord which runs along the length of the foot. The top which is brought back is made of a slab of royal red marble also called Flanders red.
Some old restorations here and there are worth mentioning and the marble is later.
