Pair of large corner consoles in gilded wood, Regency style, mid-19th century.
Beautiful decoration of arabesques on a diamond background, egg stripe and satyr mask at the corner.
The consoles are gilded with fine gold and garnished, at the top, with red silk brocatelle from Tassinari and Chatel.
Our hanging corners are a very rare proposition: if we imagine them from around twenty centimeters, they are in reality very large: 56cm high. This is a rare opportunity for great French decoration. (A few comparative photos to show the scale and allow a better idea of the size).
